This list is based on the place of death of the supercentenarian, being taken as where they are effectively from, hence includes Delio Venturotti, an Italian born man. Research has been undertaken as to the place of residence in countries which occupy portions of both hemispheres.

Interestingly the two oldest living men today are both from the southern hemisphere, something very different from what has occurred in the past.
