Kimiko Ono was born on June 20, 1908 in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture. She was the second (eldest daughter) of seven siblings, and she had one older brother, three younger brothers, and two younger sisters.

She has been known as the oldest person in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture since September 2020.

As of September 1, 2022, Mrs. Ono is the 10th-oldest validated living person in the World, the 4th-oldest validated living person in Japan.

About a year ago I did a drawing of Ms. Ono, it was originally a full body drawing but I never ended up finishing it. She was one of my ‘favourite’ Supercentenarians, so I thought I’d like to share it here. RIP Ms. Ono
