As previously reported by @Straycat6368 : the oldest citizen in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka is a 109-year-old woman per 14 August 2026. She is most likely Masako Wade (和出まさ子), born on 20 October 1916. The oldest man is 108-year-old Masaichi Ichikawa (市川政一), born on 7 February 1918.

The oldest citizen in Nagoya, Aichi is a 110-year-old woman per 31 July 2026. She is most likely the woman born on 5 October 1915, who is also the oldest living person in the prefecture.

The oldest living citizen in Yokkaichi, Mie per 1 August 2026 is an anonymous 106-year-old woman. The mayor of the city visited the oldest living citizens on 20 August 2026 (so yesterday).

Miyazaki prefecture is visiting its oldest living man and woman on 7 September, revealing them to live in Kobayashi (= Futsuno Andō) and Mimama (= Ichiji Saeki).

The oldest living person in Kakogawa, Hyōgo is a 108-year-old woman called Mago Nagano (永野マゴ). Based on last year's OLP, Mrs Nagano was born in January 1918, assuming they are the same person (last year, this person was anonymous).

I was shocked by some very sad news yesterday, but now that information has been released by Wakayama Prefecture, I have composed myself and would like to share it here.
According to a prefectural announcement, the oldest living person in the prefecture is continues to be 110-year-old Ms. Akino Hirano (平野秋の), (b. 1915.11.4) of Mihama Town.

The oldest (validated) person born on my birthday! Glad to see her doing well! Although while she looks good here it is still a major decline from last year. On the other hand I am hopeful that she will reach her 111th birthday later this year

Chiyo Ogura (10 November 1915) was honored on 1 September 2026 at the age of 110 as the oldest person in Kanagawa Prefecture.

She is the oldest person in Kagoshima Prefecture.

The oldest living person in Ehime prefecture is Mr Jūzō Kōno (河野重三) of Yawatahama, aged 110, born on 31 March 1916. Based on last year's data, he is currently the only living supercentenarian in the prefecture.
