The oldest living resident in Hitachi, Ibaraki (as well as in the prefecture) is a 107-year-old man, Toshi Nakane (中根敏), born on 7 February 1919, per 6 August 2026.

The oldest living person per 31 August 2026 in Kikugawa, Shizuoka is a 109-year-old man, Toshirō Ozawa (小澤俊郎), born on 1 October 1916, who is also the oldest living man in the prefecture.

Per 1 September 2026, the oldest three living people in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto (so not the entire prefecture!!!) are a 112-year-old man, Hikaru Katō, born on 2 May 1914 (also the oldest living man in Japan), a 110-year-old woman, Momo Kataoka (片岡モモ), born on 3 December 1915, and a 109-year-old woman born between 2 December 1916 and 1 January 1917. Thesre are the only three people in the city older than 108.

The oldest living resident in Nanto, Toyama is a 110-year-old woman, born in January 1916, per 31 August 2026. In addition, the oldest living man in the city is 108-year-old Shūsō Yamada (山田秀三), born on 22 September 1917, who is also the oldest living man in the prefecture.

Yamaguchi prefecture reports that its oldest living man and woman are 113-year-old Chitose Awata (粟田千年) of Yamaguchi City, born on 20 August 1913, and 108-year-old Yutaka Seiji (清地温) of Hirao, born on 15 June 1918, per 1 September 2026.
