Magdalini Pavlidou was the oldest person living in Greece, born on 28 June 1915 in Pontus, Ottoman Empire (present-day Samsun Province, Turkey) and died on 20 June 2024 in Charitomeni, Drama, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Greece at age 108 , 358 days. With her death Paressa Orfanido, also born in Turkey on 18 Sept 1915, is the oldest living in Greece now. Magdalini was 221 days oldest living in Greece, the same time as her predecessor Kallistheni Meleonitou (5 Apr 2023-12 Nov 2023) which is the shortest time since Konstantinos Papadamis, who spent 138 days between 19 Mar 2010 and 4 Aug 2010. His final age is the youngest since Lambis Kounoupas who had his final age at 107 years, 314 days and died on 10 Sept 2013,she lived in the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and was the first person from that region to be considered the oldest person living in Greece, the 8th oldest person living in the Balkans
