Ms. Jovita Medina Posada of Mexico sadly passed away on 12 June 2024, aged 110 years and 163 days.
She was born on 1 January 1914 in Mexico.
She was the 6th known OLP in Mexico.

I thought she had become the last of the four people born on 1 January 1914 whose birthdays had been confirmed at the start of the year, but it turns out she wasn't. So none of them have made it through the year

@mrcatlord The Japanese prefecture of Nagasaki recently announced its oldest resident:
1. Kaneko Yagi (八木カ子コ), F, 110, 1914.01.01 (lives in Minamishimabara) (per 1 September 2024)
So there is still one person alive born on that day.
