She was the seventh oldest living person in the world and the Doyenne of Spain.

Rest in peace Ms Silveria Martin Diaz.

Sadly, both Spanish supercentenarians and the top 10 as a whole, have suffered major losses over the August/early September period.

Sad news. At least she got to hold the title Doyenne of Spain.

May she rest in peace.

Very sad news. Spain has lost its 114+ living people in less than a month.

Now, let's hope that there is a confirmation of Piedad Loriente being alive. If she is alive, she turned 113 years the same day that Silveria died, becoming the OLP in Spain during her birthday.

Descanse en paz Silveria Martín Díaz, decana de España.

How sad to see Silveria gone too...

This horrible season has continued into September. Now there is only one person from the first half of 1910 left and Spain's bubble has been decimated like Germany's

RIP Mrs. Martin Diaz
