Mrs Lucienne Moreau of Issoudun, Indre, France has recently died, aged 111. She was born in Aize, Indre, France on 25 October 1912.

May she rest in peace.

Lucienne Moreau, qui résidait à Issoudun, est décédée, à 111 ans.

 

Lucienne Moreau, doyenne du Berry, n'est plus

 

Née le 25 octobre 1912 à Aize et donc âgée de 111 ans, Lucienne Moreau était la doyenne de l’Indre et du Cher.Lundi 20 novembre 2023, à l’Ehpad de La Chaume, Bertrand Giraud, président de la 1830e section de La Châtre de la Société nationale d’entraide de la médaille militaire (Snemm), lui avait décerné une médaille d’or. Un diplôme d’honneur de la 750e section d’Issoudun de ladite société lui avait également été remis, au titre de dame d’entraide.Ses obsèques auront lieu vendredi 28 juin 2024, à 10 h, à l’église Saint-Cyr, à Issoudun.

She was the 31 oldest known person alive in Europe, 9 oldest person alive in France, 136 oldest person in the history of France
