Ms. Tomi Ōno - of Tsuru, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan - sadly passed away on 21 April 2026, aged 113 y. and 56 d.
She was born on 24 February 1913.
Following the death of 112-year-old Yoshiko Naitō of Yamanashi City on 13 November 2024, Tomi Ōno became the oldest living person in Yamanashi Prefecture.
Her age was validated by LongeviQuest on 4 October 2025.

At the time of her death, she was the 7th known OLP in Japan.

- She was the oldest person in Yamanashi starting November 13, 2024 (1 year, 159 days)—the shortest tenure since Haruyo Fukazawa, who held the title from January 10, 2023, to September 17, 2023 (250 days).
- She died at the age of 113 years and 56 days, making her the oldest person to hold this position since Yoshi Baba, who died on January 4, 2022, at the age of 114 years and 215 days.
- She is the first person from Tsuru to be recognized as the oldest person in Yamanashi.
- She is the second-oldest person in Yamanashi's history.
- She is the 505th oldest person in history.
- She is the 129th oldest person in Japanese history.
- At the time her death was announced, she was the 21st oldest living person in the world, though her ranking was different at the actual time of her death.
