István Körmendi (born on 27 June 1923 in Budapest) is currently the oldest active general practitioner and physician in Hungary. He's been a GP in the 1st district (i.e. the Buda Castle district) of Budapest since the early 1950s, he's been treating some of his patients for more than seven decades. He gained country-wide fame during the pandemic. Körmendi is also a Holocaust survivor.
