On August 11, 2026, 110-years-old Ms. Tome Nakada, of Komatsu City and the oldest person in Ishikawa Prefecture, passed away at the age of 110. This indicates a high probability that an anonymous woman of Kanazawa City (She might have been Ms. Toshiko Ueda. In that case, she would have been born in January 1913.)—who was the oldest person in Ishikawa Prefecture as of September 2025 (aged 112 at the time)—has unfortunately entered "Limbo." The last confirmed date of her being alive is September 1, 2025.

If this person is Toshiko Ueda, she was the oldest living person in Ishikawa for approximately 3 years and 95 days; assuming she died on September 1, 2025 (a date I hope becomes known soon), this would be the longest tenure since Iso Nakamura, who held the title from October 1, 2013, to November 23, 2017 (4 years, 53 days).
Based on these dates, she died at the age of 112 years and 213 days (or 243 days)—the greatest age reached by Ishikawa's oldest living person since Iso Nakamura, who lived to be 114 years and 214 days old.
She is the seventh person from Kanazawa to hold the title of Ishikawa's oldest resident, and the sixth in a row.

Unfortunately, this date will not become known, Diego. (I have inside information.) In a couple of weeks, the death statistics for 2025 will become known, so we'll at least learn if she died in 2025 or in early 2026.

Thanks for the reply, Marco. It's a shame they aren't announcing the date, but at least they'll be announcing a more approximate date, then.
