Just my opinion, I think Josias de Oliveira should be put at the top, but with a question mark after the 1. 

And also, have the cases of Izidro Pires Nardes, and Julio Motta Salinas been further researched? I found a possible matching record of Izidro from 15 February 1911, but I am unsure if the parents names match And for Julio (Dec. 05, 1909), he doesn't seen too likely, but I couldn't find any information on him. Has anything come up that either supports or debunks their cases?

@ale76 oh ok. Understood. I saw from a user on another forum that Josias was partially documented, but I admit that haven't actually seen or heard of proof of it. Hopefully Josias can be validated at some point.

Weird to think that, not even that long ago, aside from Juan, there were also two 113-year-old men from Colombia living and now, the WOLVM is ‘just’ 111.5 again…

In less than 3 months, we again have a Colombian man in the Top 3

It's sad to think that in a span of 3 days, we lost the doyen of Italy, the doyen of Japan, and the doyen of Earth. 31 March 2024 - 06 April 2024 may be the worst week in history for male supercentenarians. Let's pray we don't see any more deaths this week, or better yet for a long while.

@metajore Alvaro was last confirmed alive publicly for his 113th birthday on 14 February 2023. I'm not sure if he was confirmed alive for his 114th birthday.
