By the way, it is always a huge vexation to read as an historian (POL/GER)...
She was not born in Poland and is not of Polish ethnicity. This has nothing to deal with nationalism (!!!). This is a fact.

Every month in the second half of 2023 has had one or two 114th birthdays occur during the month, but this is not just any 114th birthday. Charlotte Kretschmann is the first validated supercentenarian age 114 ever to live in Germany. This is a historical day for Germany.
