Sadly from what I can tell Shinno Shutō the oldest living man in Miyagi prefecture might be in limbo as when I went through his cities statistics from which were released on the 2nd there was no man aged 110 and older which Shinno should be at this point however I am very amateur at this so hopefully I made a mistake along the way.

Sadly from what I can tell Shinno Shutō the oldest living man in Miyagi prefecture might be in limbo as when I went through his cities statistics from which were released on the 2nd there was no man aged 110 and older which Shinno should be at this point however I am very amateur at this so hopefully I made a mistake along the way.

Unfortunately, it does seem that way, provided that these are indeed the demographics for late August (I can't find a date stamp in the Excel file itself). Miyagi prefecture has a tendency not to report the death of its oldest residents, so Mr Shutō is indeed on my limbo radar. However, I'll await until we receive confirmation from a native Japanese speaker. @straycat6368?

Looking through the file again I found that there was another man aged 107 born between 2 April 1918 and 1 April 1919 also living on 1 April 2026

He live in Monouchokashizaki(桃生町樫崎), where only one person who is older than 105 live.
