Ms. Luise Pompe of Vienna (AUT), sadly passed away on 11 November 2022, aged 114 years, 29 days. She was born on 13 October 1908.
She was the Doyenne of Austria.
On 23 September 2019, following the death of Ms. Wiesmayr, she became the oldest claimed living person in Austria.
On 12 April 2021, at the age of 112 years, 179 days, she may have surpassed the age of Ms. Mika, becoming the oldest person ever to live in Austria.
On 22 April 2021, at the age of 112 years, 189 days, she may have surpassed the age of Ms. Weiszfeld, becoming the oldest Austrian-born person ever.
On 15 October 2021 she may have become the first supercentenarian in Austria's history to have reached the age of 113.
On 16 July 2022 she may have become the claimed last known European person born in 1908 after the death of Ms. Ollmann (GER).
